Where are we located?

We are located right in the heart of the city centre on the corner of Eyre Square.

We are a 1 minute walk from Galway’s bus and train station.

Is breakfast included in the price?

Yes, a light breakfast of tea/coffee, cereals, orange juice, and toast and jams is included in the price.

Do we have a hostel curfew?

No, the hostel is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

What is check out time?

Check out of the rooms is at 10.30 am.

You are more than welcome to full use of the Hostels facilites after check out.

Is bed linen provided?

Yes, all beds have clean sheets, comfortable duvets and pillows.

What types of rooms are available in the hostel?

We have a wide mix of rooms available including Twins, Doubles, 4 Bed Ddorms, 6 Bbed Dorms, 8 Bed Dorms, all available in both Standard and En-suite Room types.

We have Mixed Dorms, Female Dorms and Male Dorms available.

What is our cancellation policy?

For individual booking, we have a 24 hour cancellation policy in the hostel. You must cancel the booking by 3 pm on the day prior to arrival or the first nights accommodation will be charged.

For group bookings, any cancellations must be made in writing / fax / e-mail one week prior to the groups arrival.

What documents do I need to stay in the hostel?

We ask all guests to provide valid photo identification, preferably passport / drivers licence.
This is standard practice is most hostels.

Do we have safekeeping facilities?

Yes, we have a number of security lockers available by the reception area which are ideal for the storage of laptops, wallets, passports, documents etc.

We have a large safe available behind the reception area for the storage of any bigger items you may wish to store. This is free of charge.

Do we offer luggage storage facilities?

Yes, we have a secure luggage room available so if you are checking out and want to spend the day in Galway, you can leave all your luggage safely with us free of charge!

Do I need to make a reservation in advance?

We would strongly advise you to make a booking in advance to guarantee your accommodation in Galway, especially during summer months.
A credit card is required to hold your bed and guarantee your reservation but is not charged until you arrive.

Do we have internet connection in the hostel?

Yes, we have an internet café beside the ‘chill out zone’ and also if you are travelling with a laptop, we have wi-fi internet connection available which is free of charge.
